Inventory Assistant

We’re on the lookout for a hands-on, detail-driven, and process-oriented Inventory Assistant to help ensure a smooth transition of materials from vendors to Production. If you thrive on working in a team and fast paced environment, using your hands and solving real-time challenges,  we want to meet you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Ensuring inventory and warehouse is in order and organized

• Receive and move materials fork lift

• Manage inventory

• Periodic Inventory Counts

• Schedule carrier and set-up shipping

• Receiving and inspecting incoming materials

• Drive to local vendors to pick up and deliver materials

• Lifting approximately 40 pounds, on feet all day, moving

• Collaborate with different areas in the shop

• Follow safety, quality, and process standards

• Assist production as needed

• Learn and practice Lean manufacturing to implement continuous improvement processes and identify opportunities

• Work in fear-free culture- look at process not person

What You Bring to the Table:

• Previous experience in inventory, shipping and receiving preferred

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred

• Forklift experience preferred

• Strong mechanical or technical aptitude

• Process improvement mindset

• Ability to prioritize tasks and rearrange tasks as needed

• Experience with power tools and machinery

• A proactive mindset and the ability to think on your feet

• Willingness to learn and improve

• Passion for teamwork and pride in precision

• Desire to work with their hands and be physically active
